Living in the beautiful seaside town of Marion Bay with her family, qualified Chef Caroline decided to start her own business in 2005.

Working in several restaurants and hospitality businesses, including Penguinis (Granite Island), Woodstock Winery (McLaren Vale) and the Iconic Rhinos tavern in the Innes National Park (Yorke Peninsula) her dream and experience led her to catering.

Starting out with selling sea salt and doing some small scale catering was how it all began.

After a few years of catering and the success of selling her salt and pepper prawns at fairs and shows it became clear that the salt and pepper coating was a hit. It was after this she created her product range: Salt & Pepper Coating Original, Lemon & Garlic, and Lime & Chilli. As well as Salt Flakes, Salt Grinder, Pepper Grinder, and refill packs for both grinders.

Wow, wow, wow! We honestly can not recommend MBC foods with Caroline enough!

From our whole wedding day, all of our guest have been raving on about how incredible the food was! The food was one of the highlights of the day. Caroline was very easy to contact and replied promptly every time. She was very helpful in planning a menu and worked around numerous dietary requirements.

Caroline also made our wedding cake which was a Pav. It turned out better than we had imagined and tasted divine and the food was presented beautifully!

Caroline and her husband were very friendly and easy to work with. We can’t wait to try more of Caroline’s food in the future.

Oh my! Saturday night’s first course was baby beetroots with spring onions, pine nuts, peas and dotted with horseradish cream. I cannot convey how perfectly cooked and presented this was. The combination of flavours was culinary heaven. The second course was crumbed whiting for my partner and an artistically shaped, and crumbed sweet potato to mimic the fish. They were accompanied by a tangy salad that perfectly offset the “fish”.

I would rate this dinner as one of the top meals I have ever had anywhere and I am in awe of Carolines culinary skills. Thank you Caroline!
